Correct answer is strength training. Muscle cells are larger and require more energy to sustain. So even at rest, the body has to expend more energy to feed and service the muscles.

Cardio vascular training has greatest effects on metabolism.
It boosts the metabolism and help to lose unnecessary body weight. So it help more effectively in weight management and fitness maintenance.
