Melissa Paton has a bachelors degree (Magna Cum Laude) in Human Nutrition with a concentration in Dietetics, and a minor in Spanish from Arizona State University. She is currently a graduate student in the Human Nutrition program at ASU where she plans to research the effect of food on blood sugar and insulin levels. Melissa has been a student member of the American Dietetic Association since 2004. She volunteers regularly within her local community; most recently at a youth camp for Native Americans with diabetes.
